Terms of Service

Last updated: October 12, 2026

Welcome to MisterScholarship. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Who can use the service

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed these Terms and agrees to your use of the service. MisterScholarship is designed for students in the United States.

2. What we do (and don't do)

MisterScholarship is a free matching and tracking tool. We collect publicly available scholarship information and listings submitted by providers, and we show you which ones you may qualify for. We are not a scholarship provider, we don't choose winners, and we don't guarantee that you'll qualify for or win any award. You apply directly with each provider, and their rules and decisions are their own.

3. Accuracy of listings

We work to keep listings accurate and regularly re-verify them, but amounts, deadlines and eligibility can change without notice, and some listings are submitted by third parties. Always confirm details on the provider's official website before applying. Match results are estimates based on the information you give us. A legitimate scholarship should never ask you to pay a fee to apply — if you see one that does, please report it to us.

4. Your account

  • Provide accurate information and keep your password secure.
  • You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us right away at support@misterscholarship.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
  • You can delete your account at any time from your Profile page.

5. Listing a scholarship

If you submit a scholarship, you confirm that you're authorized to do so and that the information is accurate and not misleading. You give us permission to display, edit for clarity, and share the listing on MisterScholarship. We may decline or remove any listing at our discretion. Listings may not charge application fees or collect information for marketing.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: misuse or disrupt the service; scrape or copy it in bulk; try to access other users' accounts or data; submit false, fraudulent, or harmful content; or use the service for any unlawful purpose.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or put other users at risk. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

8. Intellectual property

The MisterScholarship name, logo, design and software belong to us. Scholarship names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. You keep ownership of the notes and information you add.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent allowed by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, MisterScholarship will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any missed deadline, lost award, or decision made by a scholarship provider. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to $100. Some states don't allow these limitations, so they may not fully apply to you.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we'll update the date above and notify signed-in users. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept them.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where your state's consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
